I finally went for it... my hair has been 'fuzzy' for years....and it takes so much time to do it everyday that I was always hoping for a miracle. My hairdresser at Studio1 in Bronxville told me that I should get Brazilian Straightening..not to be confused with the Brazilian waxing (ouch) haha.. Anyway.. it differs from Japanese straightening in many ways:
#1. Its not permanent, it lasts for 3 months and simply washes out.
#2 you can have color treated hair.
#3 its cheaper
#4 its not sooooooo pin straight..its just no fuzzy kind of straight .
ok...now to the downsides... it takes 3 hours to do... and get this...you cant wash your hair for 4 days!!! yeah..no joke... eeeuuuw. I am on day 2 of getting it done, so I'll add to this posting later but so far even though its going to be awful for the next few days, I am really psyched that its just going to be so easy to do my hair...jump out of the shower and go... yippee...
I know for some, that this posting is helpful and some it is ridiculous.
