Buying a dog from the internet

This is Chewy...my first and only dog..... he was a teacup pomeranian and I purchased him off of the internet. Now I know that you might be laughing because who on earth buys a dog from the internet... so here is the story. I've never owned a dog... so I had no idea how to buy one. My friend Mikelle and I found this little cutie pie online and basically just pressed click! The breeder few him to me where I had to pick him up at JFK. I was going to name him Thor since he was only about a 1/2 a pound and I thought it would be funny...but since he started chewing on everything... he just ended up being called Chewy. This cute little bundle was my pride and joy for a few years ...well...except he left little tootsie rolls everywhere ha ha. I ended up moving to NYC, so figured it would be cruel to have my dog left alone...so made a really tough decision in the doggies best interests. I gave him to a family on campus who could look after him. It broke my heart, but was the best decision for him. I was about 24 years old at the time... lesson learned... its hard to own a dog, but harder still to give him up.
