Dinner at Priscillas House

Last night I went over to my friend Priscilla's house for a farewell dinner to celebrate Alexis, Diego and their new baby Elios. Its hard to believe that they are moving back to Spain in September and I am so sad to lose another friend to distance. Diego is the most patient, kind, intuitive, caring person and he reminds me very much of my friend Sarah...who had his job before he came to Masters and then moved to Italy... Whats up with my closest friends moving abroad!!! ha ha.. His wife Alexis is a writer, she has such a fun personality and is a great new mom! Their baby is adorable!!!

Dieting

Have you ever stood in front of one of those carnival mirrors that make you look thinner. I'm assuming you hustled right past the one that makes everything wider, until your eyes settled on the Magic One and you took your stance.

There you were, thin. You were also eight feet tall (but a very slim eight feet) If you moved forward or back, you could create the illusion of a nice elongated neck (say 38 inches), or the waistline of a bird. A flamingo. True, it wasnt your fantasy body, but it was a thinner one.

Matt's 40th Birthday

Ellen is now crawling around at a fast pace...eating baby mush food and has 4 teeth!!!
I dont think she could get any cuter...but I said that the last time I saw her!
She is still the happiest little person! She giggles, and smiles and LOVES music!
I am spending the week in Princeton with the family and here are some of the best photos so far....
She is almost walking..but needs you to hold her hands so that she doesnt fall! She still loves to do Peek-A-Boo and will grab on to just about anything she can get in her hands!
